Hudson's beautiful hospital birth.

I had planned the birth of my second child very early on in my pregnancy. I wanted to have another homebirth, as I had with my first.

Sink or swim?

When the unimaginable happens, what do you do?

Do you sink and give up or do you keep swimming however challenging that may be?

Expecting a baby?  Feel isolated, confused or overwhelmed by all that is happening in the world at the moment with COVID 19?

Were you looking forward to attending antenatal classes to learn about childbirth but now feel uncertain due to so many NHS class cancellations?

Babies in Waiting can help you.

For years we have been delivering our 1:1 private Hypnobirthing sessions and group courses face to face.  In light of all of the changes and restrictions currently taking place, like many businesses, we have taken our courses online.

Speedy leap year arrival.

Just wanted to say thank you again and share Jack’s birth story with you. I honestly feel like it is a privilege to have had the experiences I’ve had with both Dottie and Jack being welcomed into the world in the way that they were.

Tom and I cannot speak highly enough of the BIW course and the education you provide for both Mums and Dads.

Jack was, by the hospital dates, due on 25th February. Tom and I thought he was due on 6th March. Either way we were excited and relaxed. We knew our baby would arrive when he was ready.

Nelly's beautiful birth - a Doula's perspective

Confidence, strength and connection.  Three words that I would use to describe the amazing birth that I supported as a Doula just over a week ago.  I get goose bumps now just thinking about it.  Nicole’s husband Tom was with her every step of the way and it was one of those magical experiences that I know will always stay with me.  It made me reflect on how life really does come down to love and connection.  Love was most definitely in the air as this little one made her journey into her Mother's arms.
