HypnoBirthing Mum 35 weeks

Not long now…with their HypnoBirthing course completed our parents to be are practising the techniques at home in the own time.  To complement this our Mum has been also attending our Monday morning Hypno Relaxation class 10 am – 11 am which is a lovely way to start the week.  We look foward to seeing her tomorrow.

HypnoBirthing Mum 32 weeks

Our HypnoBirthing Mum now only has 2 more classes to attend and she’s doing brilliantly.  She tells us that she has found the light touch massage technique particularly relaxing.

As she is having a home birth she has bought her own birthing pool from ‘Birth in a Box’ and has been planning where to set the pool up.  She has enjoyed seeing her midwives and is pleased that everything is normal and healthy with her pregnancy – baby is doing well!

Tiredness has been a bit more of an issue and she has been having naps when she can and getting to bed early.  However, she has also found that she has been quite restless during the night and been lying wide awake for periods of time which has been frustrating for her.  She has got a pregnancy pillow but is still finding it quite tricky to get comfortable.  Any of you pregnant ladies out there or Mums got any useful tips or things that you have found useful?

She has also found that she has been experiencing back ache and has been seeing Rebecca at the Wickford Chiropractic clinic for relief for this which has been brilliant.  She has also been using a heated wheat bag to soothe her lower back which she has personally found has worked well for her.

Not long now until her baby’s birth day and she tells us things seem to be going much quicker now that the weeks are in single figures.  She is looking forward to finishing work and has her Baby Shower coming up.

One point of discussion that has cropped up this week is the idea of Placenta Encapsulation…what are your thoughts?

Looking forward to updating you further, please feel free to comment/leave points for discussion.  Thanks

HypnoBirthing Mum 25 weeks

At 25 weeks our Mum tells us that her baby boy has just started practising his football skills and she has been able to feel him kick properly! She said it was so unexpected that is nearly took her breath away.

Prior to this she has been feeling him moving around quite a bit and especially during the HypnoBirthing Cd. She told us ‘HypnoBirthing just makes so much sense.  I am looking forward to my baby’s birthing day with excitement and joy.  I am feeling full of energy and really enjoying my pregnancy.’

She looks great and is doing really well…more of her story to follow!

HypnoBirthing Mum Pregnancy and Birth story continued

Well…it appears that sometimes the sex of the baby is so obvious that even the parents don’t need to be told!  Our couple are expecting a lovely little boy.

Mum is blooming and looking extremely well.  She is taking care to eat all the right foods for her bubba and enjoying her pregnancy.

We are told that she is listening to her HypnoBirthing CD everyday and that Dad is also taking on board the Rainbow Relaxation colours.

They start formally on our next ‘Babies in Waiting’ class but are enthusiastically involving themselves with the philosophy now which is great!  They are talking to their baby and bonding with their baby.  Mum can feel baby moving around inside her – it’s a very exciting time!

We hope to see our Mum to be at the Baby and Me Mothercare event tonight in Basildon where we will be talking to lots of pregnant ladies about HypnoBirthing.  We will update you on the rest of our couples pregnancy and birth journey shortly….

HypnoBirthing Mum pregnancy and birth story

We are following the story of one of our HypnoBirthing couples as they embark on the journey of parenthood.  We are in the fortunate position of being able to gain a personal  insight into the current situation for Mums and Dads to be as they look forward to the exciting arrival of their little one!  Over the next few months we would like to share their story with you as I am sure it’s one that many of you can relate to and indeed enjoy.

Our couple are married and live in the Essex area they are currently 20 weeks pregnant (due June 2012) and looking forward to their 20 weeks scan in a few days time.

So far, other than some morning sickness, tiredness and pickle cravings the pregnancy has been enjoyable and like most couples the parents to be were relieved to discover that everything was normal during their 12 week scan.

As they eagerly await their 20 week scan they are debating about whether to find out the sex of their baby…

They will shortly be joining one of the ‘Babies in Waiting’ HypnoBirthing classes and have started reading the HypnoBirthing book by Marie Mongan in advance which is great.  We can’t wait to teach them the HypnoBirthing techniques!

We want to wish them luck for their next scan.  We are pleased that the sickness and tiredness seems to have subsided and look forward to hearing more about how the pregancy is going.

We leave you with this thought…to find out the sex of the baby or not to find out… What are your thoughts?
