Hypnobirthing® is a tried and tested antenatal program. It is simple to follow and understand to allow you the most natural, happy birth possible.

HypnoBirthing® courses teach you the skills to enable you to be completely relaxed and in control, thereby eliminating fear and tension.

You will learn:

• Everything you need to know to achieve safer, easier and more comfortable birth;
  
• To explode the myth that pain is a necessary accompaniment to labour;
  
• Techniques of deep relaxation to help you eliminate the Fear-Tension-Pain Syndrome;
  
• How your body is naturally designed to conceive, nurture and birth your baby with ease and comfort;
  
• To create your body’s own natural anaesthesia, the only safe labour enhancement;
  
• Natural ways to bring your body into labour without artificial chemical induction;
  
• How you and your birthing companion can create a birthing environment that is calm, serene and joyful, rather than tense and stressful;
  
• Gentle birthing techniques that allow you to breathe your baby into the world without the violence of hard physical pushing ;
  
• To use your natural birthing instincts to birth your baby in a way that most mirrors the way that nature intended.

Babies in Waiting teach the HypnoBirthing® course in 5 sessions each lasting 2 ½ hours. The groups are no more than 4 couples to ensure an informal atmosphere.

The courses run on either a Wednesday evening 7pm-9.30pm or on Saturdays 10 am – 12.30 pm and are held at Willow Cottage, Billericay. This convenient and tranquil setting is designed to make you feel at home during the sessions. We understand how important it is for pregnant women to be comfortable and so we ensure that the teaching room is cosy and relaxing with lots of refreshment available.

We want you and your birthing partner to feel completely at ease so that you feel free to ask questions, enabling you to feel confident and prepared as you look forward to the arrival of your baby.

The cost of the 5 week group class is £230 which includes the official HypnoBirthing® book, the official HypnoBirthing® CD and ongoing support from Babies in Waiting via email or telephone.
